In comparison, in Marrakech, temperatures can sometimes fall below 8°C in winter and exceed 45°C in summer, and the same applies to Tangier and other cities.
This ideal weather makes Agadir a unique destination for beach lovers, swimming, relaxation, and outdoor sports or adventure activities. Visitors can explore the city comfortably without worrying about sudden weather changes affecting their trip experience, making every visit to Agadir enjoyable and stress-free year-round.

As night falls, the beauty of the Corniche reaches its peak with the lights illuminating the area, and on the Kasbah hill, Morocco’s emblem shines in white: “God, Homeland, King.”

In fact, I know very well that Agadir does not boast rich historical architecture like Marrakech, Fez, Rabat, or other historical cities in Morocco. This is due to the tragedy of the 1960 Agadir earthquake, which destroyed most of its landmarks.
However, this does not mean the city is without sites and buildings worth visiting, or without structures that reflect its history and heritage. Among the most notable are the Agadir Oufella Kasbah overlooking the sea, Agadir Medina, which represents a modern architectural gem with a traditional spirit, and the Cinema Salam in the Babtouar neighborhood, which survived the earthquake and stands as one of the rare witnesses to the city’s past

When visiting Agadir, and especially if you are strolling along the city’s beach, the first thing that will catch your attention at sunset and nightfall are the twinkling lights on the hill opposite the shore; there stands the majestic Agadir Oufella Kasbah, a historical symbol of the city that should not be missed.
The kasbah was restored in 2021 using the same original materials and techniques, bringing back part of its former glory. But believe me, the best experience you can have during your visit is the panoramic view of the city at sunset and at night. From here, you will witness the most beautiful sunset in Agadir, and when night falls, nothing compares to the sea breeze caressing your face, the scent of fish rising from the fishing port, and the glittering city lights that make the city look like a sky full of colorful stars.
Today, the kasbah offers several facilities for visitors: walking paths to explore the historical remains, wooden benches for rest, and even spaces for outdoor sports. And for those who want to learn more about the kasbah’s history and its military and defensive role, you can coordinate with a local guide who will add great value to your visit.

The medina was designed and built using local materials such as white stone, red clay, eucalyptus wood, and laurel, staying true to traditional craftsmanship.
